American Durafilm Company, Inc. maintains its inventory of high performance TEFLON® sheets, films, and fabrics as rolls of material and from that stock we:

HEAT SEAL TEFLON® sheets and extruded layflat tubingHEAT SEAL TEFLON® sheets and extruded layflat tubing into two and three dimensional parts such as: Bags for collecting field samples of soil and gas (inert containers) for testing, (we offer bags open on one end and with mechanical closures or bags sealed on all sides with a variety of fittings installed to allow gases or liquid to flow in and out). TEFLON® Film Freeze bags that will remain flexible at cryogenic temperatures and withstand elevated temperatures to 500° F. These materials have been used by NASA to transport laboratory tests that were contracted by industry to be run in outer space. We also fabricate TEFLON® FEP blankets and panels of various sizes and thicknesses. Endless belts for copiers and food processing plants. Survival Hoods for brief exposure in caustic environments. Folded and sealed film can make liners with three dimensions like grocery bags or totally enclosed boxes for laser testing gases inside the chamber (our films can be optically clear "windows" for lasers).

TEFLON®/TEFZEL® Film

THERMOFORM TEFLON® sheet material into three dimensional parts such as: Funnels, Lens Covers for corrosive atmosphere or food packaging industries, Diaphragms for pumps, Gasket Covers for rubber that will see service in severe environments, Mold Liners for release, Vessel Liners for soil and gas testing equipment (inert liners that won't contaminate the samples), Dielectric Shields for batteries and other electrical components.

Note: With our films of TEFLON®, we can work with molds made of prototype materials such as aluminum, stainless steel and epoxy. Industry demands for chemically inert high (and low) temperature materials are seemingly endless.

DIE CUT TEFLON® sheets of material into finished parts using steel rule dies (tolerance are ±.005") or precision steel dies with very close tolerances.

LAMINATE materials into self lubrication bearing cages with exceptional strength for use in outer space or bearing pads for bridges and buildings in earthquake areas.

CHALLENGE US to combine our skills to develop special TEFLON® film products like thermoformed (round) drum heads with long lengths of vertical wall with material or flanges heat sealed on to the top edge. We've been working with these high performance films longer than anyone else in the industry.
