FEP Extruded Lay Flat Tubing - Sole Distributor

American Durafilm Co., Inc., the oldest fabricator of TEFLON® FEP films, now shows that it continues to lead the industry by offering bags with only one seal at the bottom. Less seals means less chance to fail, more volume capacity, "cleaner" look and less fabrication (cost or value added) to make a finished product.

These TEFLON® FEP bags are made from extruded seamless tubing, heat sealed at the bottom) with a 3/8" wide impulse sealer (the only way to seal this material properly) and packaged in groups of ten in a polyethylene bag which is again heat sealed closed. Minimum order for these bags is $100.00 (plus or minus a package of ten bags). If you require certifications of compliance with material traceability, ASTM or MIL specifications, there will be a $10.00 charge per order. Remember, bags made of seamless extruded tubing mean cleaner bags as there is no sheeting, folding or "matched rolls" of film being used to make the bags (matched rolls of film can also lead to material traceability problems).

Options Available* (Quoted on Request):

• Same width bags but longer or shorter.
• Material batch numbers, part numbers and/or process lot numbers printed on the outside of each bag. (Note: Printing may not hold up to certain chemical environments/exposure and/or could compromise bio-compatibility in certain end uses).
• Material batch numbers, part numbers and/or process lot numbers printed on each bag within the seal area at the bottom, sandwiched between the two (2) plies of film so that the "ink" will not be exposed to your materials inside the bag or to the environment outside the bag.
• Different width bags as long as your volume requirements meet our minimum run for extruding seamless tubing. (There are no "samples" of special width material unless you want to try a few "Sheet, fold, longitudinal overlap seal" style bags for evaluation before ordering the minimum quantity seamless extruded tubing bags.)
• Instron® pull test on heat seals at your AQL level with recorded results and sample strips given to you for your records/retention.
• Snap closure strips are available to make for "field closure" and/or reusability. (The materials these closures are made of may compromise the high and low end operating temperatures of these bags or the chemical or bio-compatibility of these bags.)
• Leak testing is available at 100% or at your AQL level.
• Fittings can be installed at your designated location (within reason) and the bag heat sealed closed.
• Rigid 1/4" diameter TEFLON® Tubing with luer fittings can be heat sealed into these bags if required.
