Static-Dissipative High Performance Heat Shrinkable Tubing
Reduce or eliminate ink build-up on your rollers!
CHEMFLUOR® NAS-Series Roll Covers have been engineered specifically for the printing industry to address the problem of ink build-up on rollers – and offer the additional advantage of being static-dissipative.
Field testing of these roll covers has shown that their advanced fluoropolymer construction exhibits extraordinary anti-stick properties, resulting in the reduction or elimination of ink build-up on rollers. Users report improved quality, reduced scrap, and decreased down time and maintenance expenses with no static build-up.
Fluoropolymer heat shrinkable tubing is extruded tubing that is heated, dilated with internal pressure, and then cooled while still under pressure. The expanding temperature is specifically selected so that when pressure is released, the tubing remains in an expanded but unstable state.
The expanded tubing is slipped over the metal rollers. The diameter of the tubing is carefully controlled to ensure quick and easy installation; no adhesives are required. The application of heat by hand-held heat guns "reminds" the tubing of its original size and it shrinks down over the roller, forming a tight jacket.
