American Durafilm Company, Inc. is America's oldest and most experienced distributor and fabricator of high performance films from DuPont and a leading producer of formed parts from DuPont KAPTON®, TEFLON®, and TEFZEL®.
The company was founded in 1950 as one of the three original Licensed Industrial Applicators of TEFLON® coatings. Over half a century later, the company remains a leading supplier of DuPont ultra high performance films, including KAPTON®, TEFLON®, TEDLAR®, and TEFZEL®. The company is as well known for its responsive service as for its high quality products, having received numerous awards from commercial and government customers for on-time performance.
American Durafilm Company, Inc. has developed unique capabilities for fabricating custom parts in precisely designed configurations from DuPont's KAPTON® and TEFLON® ultra high performance films. American Durafilm engineers have perfected proprietary, state-of-the-art processes for forming and heat-sealing DuPont films and have designed and built special equipment for producing a variety of pre-formed parts and TEFLON® Bags. These parts provide efficient, cost-effective design and performance solutions in scores of challenging applications throughout the electronics, automotive, chemical, printing, food processing, packaging, safety, environmental and electrical industries.

In addition to fabricating parts from KAPTON® and TEFLON®, American Durafilm also sells TEFLON® FEP and PFA films and shrinkable roll covers. It offers services to shrink and/or bond these covers to customer-supplied rolls. It also forms and heat-seals these films. The company supplies TEFLON® coated glass fabric and Kevlar® endless belts to the food and packaging industries.
American Durafilm Company, Inc. maintains large inventories of DuPont high performance films, including KAPTON®, TEFLON®, TEDLAR® and TEFZEL®, and can deliver footage or poundage from stock, usually within 24 hours of receipt of order.
